Cabernet sauvignon, Lorval
A smooth red wine and very refreshing. These grapes are grown on the hillsides
of the Mediterranean cost in Southern FRANCE. Enjoy this velvety rich wine.
Great with savory meats
Montepulciano D’Abruzzo
This dry red wine is made from rich violet grapes. Wines from the Abruzzi region
of ITALY are generally full bodied.
Merlot, Carta Bieja
A delicious fruity red wine. Many of the fine Merlot’s are from CHILE. Excellent
with pasta, chicken and mild cheeses.
Chianti, Ruffino
To most Italians, Chianti is present with every meal. At least that is how
Charles remembers it. It is a wine to be shared, since it suits almost all
palates. A product of ITALY.
Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley Vineyards
1997 Founders Reserve, medium bodied. From the first sip, you will taste
currant, cherry and blackberry flavors, providing you with a long supple and
mouth coating to a diminishing dusty rose finish.
Pinot Noir, Cuvee Rustique
Produced by Raptor Ridge Winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. This fine wine
will have a little heartier flavor.
Sauvignon Blanc, Michel Lynch
A product of Bordeaux FRANCE. The Lynch Family settle in Bordeaux in 1691. This
white wine is great with fish, pasta and chicken dishes. A hearty rich full
bodied flavor.
Vouvray Blanc, DeBlanc Monmousseau
Loire Valley’s white wine, tendered from Chenin Blanc grapes and grown in the
Central Valley of FRANCE. Excellent with seafood and white meats.
Semillon Chardonnay, Alice White
A product of Australia. The combination of the citrus flavor, of Semillon
grapes, and the ripe peach flavor, like the characteristics of a Chardonnay, is
perfect with any meal.
Chardonnay, Southern Eastern Australia, Alice White
A dry white wine with a sharp crisp fruity flavor and a very light hint of oak.
Chardonnay’s are hearty and full bodied. Great with fish, white sauces and
seafood.
Riesling, Cellar Masters of Columbia Winery
A product of Washington State. Charles loves the Rieslings from Germany but
states this particular Riesling is one of the finest domestic Rieslings he’s
tasted in a long time. The honey pear ad apricot aroma comes through
excellently. The grapes have been slowly fermented, causing a nice flavored
Riesling.
Riesling, Schmitt Sohne
This medium bodied Riesling has a peach and apple aroma. Produced with white
grapes along the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer in Germany. If one was taking a train ride,
you’d find these grapes growing on the slopes of Germany. A very picturesque
scene. It has a very light flavor, great with chicken and Alfredo dishes.
Port Wine, Whidbeys of WASHINGTON State
This is perhaps one of the finest wines I have ever tasted. It is truly under
valued. It gives off a bouquet of dark chocolate, orange, cherry and prunes,
with a hint of oak. It is a great accompaniment with appetizer and dessert. It
is to be served in small portions.
